Toyota is helping more motorists make the move to cleaner cars by launching a new scrappage scheme. It’s open to vehicles that were registered up to and including 31st December 2009, and registered to the current owner for at least six months^.
Qualifying customers can enjoy savings of up to £4,000 on a new Toyota with the scheme running from 1 September 2017 to 31 December 2017. The offer covers almost the entire Toyota passenger car and light commercial range, from the AYGO city car to Land Cruiser and Hilux.
Twenty-five years ago Toyota built its first car in Britain, launching a manufacturing enterprise that has benefited from billions of pounds of investment and delivered more than four million vehicles to customers in the UK, Europe and beyond. To celebrate this landmark anniversary, Toyota has produced a special limited edition version of the Auris Hybrid, a model proudly built at its Burnaston factory and powered by an engine made at its plant in Deeside, North Wales.
After 17 years away, the all-conquering Toyota team is back in the FIA World Rally Championship with the 2017 Yaris WRC. This has inspired the new limited-edition Yaris GRMN: a full-blooded hot hatch tuned and tested on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife, available to pre-order this summer.
